$90,000 Leadership Gift

Supporting Indigenous Scholarships at Western Sydney University

The School of Social Sciences at Western Sydney University in conjunction with Western Sydney Local Health District are supporting the Dean's Western Sydney Local Health District Master of Art Therapy Indigenous Scholarship with a donation of $45,152 each for this full course fee scholarship. The School of Social Sciences recognises the culture of philanthropy that exists at Western and seeks to reinforce this important message of giving back to the communities that the university serves and in conjunction aligning with the strategic goals of its key partners such as Western Sydney Local Health District. This Scholarship has the potential to expand the pool of qualified Indigenous art therapists and the use of creative arts therapies is currently under utilised in a context where it has significant potential.
