Supporting Scholarships for Refugee Women at Western Sydney University

Ms Katie Page, CEO of Harvey Norman and former Western Sydney Foundation council member knows that an exceptional education is permanently life-changing. Since 2015, Katie has supported 57 Western Sydney University scholarships the recipients were high achieving women; women who have overcome disadvantage and refugee women. Nine of whom have already graduated.

Katie has witnessed first-hand the work of Western Sydney University and knows the success of Giving Day 2021 will enable more students – women and men – to flourish in adult life.

"I am so fortunate to be able to meet these extraordinary women over the course of their degree. Education changed my life. These students work so hard and Western Sydney University provides the highest quality tertiary education. This powerful combination enables the student recipients to take a new path in life, one where they can grasp the spectrum of opportunity."
